Our Mission
The mission of Barrettes and Bookmarks, Inc. is to empower Black youth by encouraging expanded access to reading and literacy initiatives. By focusing on the needs of underserved populations, we hope to foster an increased sense of activism and social awareness among the Black community from an early age. Representation matters, and it all starts with a good story.
